Valerie is the best! I met her approximately 10 years ago as I was building a 7000 sq. ft. home in North Scottsdale. I used her design services during the construction process as well as for furnishings when the home was completed. Valerie, I am so excited to find you on this site! Valerie Marcus of VM Concept and Design has done the design work in 2 of our homes. Our home in Troon, Scottsdale is a soft contemporary that was so boring and drab, you know, the white walls, high ceilings, good architecture, but no personality or warmth. I sat looking at those white walls for 3 years before meeting Valerie. As a businesswoman, I must have reliable and total attention to my projects. Well... Valerie not only met but exceeded my expectations! Her design work is magnificent. But, what is truly remarkable is her attention to detail and management jof her projects. Her character is beyond reproach! As for my Scottsdale home, it was transformed from a stark and boring home to a palatial estate. I kid you not. It is rich and sumptuous but is warm and welcoming. We then bought a second home in Park City. This is a log home that is rich with character but basically looked like every photo of what a ski chalet looks like. This look is okay but what was in store for me was a huge surprise. Valerie came in and transformed our log cabin into another dream home for us. It is cozy and warm. The home cocoons you! On a snowy day with fireplaces roaring, it is wonderful to sink into the lush fabrics and leathers. I wiggle my toes in the plush carpeting. The warmth and coziness of our cabin is such that our guests often overstay their welcome! What a find Valerie Marcus has been for us! Valerie's talent of getting to know us and our taste works famously with her eclectic talent as a interior designer. She has incredible attention to detail, knowledge of not only the design industry, but the building industry as well. We were amazed how she was able to direct our General Contractor during our renovation project, and offered constructive, critical input to allow the project to run smoothly. Her expertise aided in the completion of a fantastic renovation. Valerie did such a great job on our home in AZ, we just simply had to have her design another home of ours out of State. Valerie Marcus from VM concept was very professional. She remodeled our 2 story townhouse from top to bottom with an elegant contemporain style.Her talent, friendliness and impeccable communication made this remodeling so easy for us.She listen to us,found what we really liked and her European flair did the rest.She met our deadline and we were able to move back into an outstanding home, when we came back from overseas. In 2006 VM Concepts did a residential home for us in the Phoenix / Biltmore area. Valerie's designs and finishes allowed us to sell the home for a premium in 2008 even after the Phoenix AZ real estate marked became depressed. This experience led us to hire VM Concepts again to remodel an historic building in Ogden UT for a New Orleans style restaurant. Again her input, designs and fabrics exceeded our expectations.
